Senior Systems Test Engineer

Job Area Engineering Group > Systems Test Engineering General Summary This individual independently plans, performs and monitors the testing and modification of general systems‑level software and/or hardware, including specialized utilities and hardware. The role involves interpreting wireless specifications, designing test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures, documenting systems‑level defects using a bug tracking system, and reporting defects to developers. Responsibilities also include identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting and documenting problems with program function, output or content; developing testing programs to assess the effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system; and contributing to design reviews and project meetings. Education & Experience Masters Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
