Demand Planner

Merchandising & Demand Planning AnalystAs the Merchandising & Demand Planning Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting the curation of product categories across our omnichannel business including e-commerce, retail and in-home sales and services. You'll work cross-functionally with peers and leaders to deliver business results. We're looking for individuals who are adaptable and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment, including learning new tools with a sense of curiosity and eagerness to refine your skills.For this role, you will have the option between two start dates in mid-February and mid-June 2027.This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What you'll doCreate and prioritize key offers and messages and execute in-store signage, combos and bundlesManage forecasting and demand planning system tools and best practicesExecute inventory purchasing and placement with focus on forecasting process, vendor partnership, inventory investment and inventory healthAnalyze reporting to provide business recommendations on assortment, pricing, promotional planning, customer experience, and vendor managementInteract with vendor partners on inventory planning, supply chain solutions, collecting supplier support funds, products, pricing and promotional plansBasic qualificationsBasic data analysis with an eye toward problem solving and optimizationBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)Must be available to start during the class dates of either mid-February or mid-JunePreferred qualificationsBachelor's degreeIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite1 year of experience in merchandise planning, site merchandising, demand planning, supply chain or related business team1 year of experience communicating and partnering with vendors/3rd party1 year of experience performing data analysisWhat's in it for youWe're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
