Forklift Operator and Material HandlerThis role involves working in a warehouse environment to accurately pull orders from multiple sections, maintain daily inventory records, and ensure materials match the correct project and serial numbers. You operate pallet equipment and a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize construction products, small tools, and related materials for shipping and receiving.ResponsibilitiesPull warehouse orders from three different sections of the facility according to pick tickets and project requirements.Match materials to the correct project and serial numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability.Maintain daily inventory records, updating counts and locations as materials are moved or used.Walk through the warehouse to track inventory, verify stock levels, and identify discrepancies.Operate pallet equipment and a sit-down forklift safely to move, load, and unload materials.Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging orders and organizing materials for dispatch.Keep work areas organized and contribute to an efficient, fast-paced warehouse workflow.Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while handling construction pieces, tools, and gadgets.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with warehouse order pulling and material handling.Ability to operate pallet equipment and a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.Working knowledge of inventory tracking and basic stock control processes.Experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment.Ability to walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods to track and verify inventory.Strong attention to detail when matching orders with project and serial numbers.Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse setting with construction products and small tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as an order puller in a warehouse environment.Familiarity with handling construction-related materials, parts, and tools.Basic understanding of warehouse documentation related to orders, inventory, and shipping.Reliability and consistency in following established warehouse and safety procedures.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers a long-term, contract-to-hire path with the potential to grow in a stable warehouse setting.
