- Plan and deliver weekly art lessons suitable for children ages 5-12.
- Introduce students to basic techniques in drawing, painting, mixed media, and creative expression.
- Prepare materials and set up the classroom prior to each session.
- Provide step-by-step instruction while allowing freedom for individual creativity.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Encourage students, offer constructive feedback, and support their artistic growth.
- Communicate as needed with site staff regarding supplies, attendance, or class updates.
- Manage cleanup and ensure materials are stored properly after class.
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camps, childcare, or similar).
- Background in art, design, or creative instruction preferred.
- Ability to lead a group, communicate clearly, and engage young learners.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a structured classroom.
- Positive, encouraging attitude with a passion for helping children develop confidence through art.
- Thursdays from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Program runs 4 weeks (1/22/2026-2/12/2026)
- Instructor should arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for setup.
