Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Drax is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support reliable, safe operation of our renewable biomass and power generation assets. In this role, you’ll install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, control circuits, PLCs, and instrumentation for turbines, material handling, and process equipment. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrate field instruments, read and update schematics, and support commissioning of new equipment. Working in a safety‑first culture, you’ll collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve asset performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
