Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Stepdown unit on a travel basis. The role requires proficiency in cardiac care with the flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to arrhythmias, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient status, interventions, and progress accurately within electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards in all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the appropriate state or pending licensure review.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a cardiac stepdown or ICU setting.
• Be proficient in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
