Physical Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Austin, Texas

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, rotating weekends every 3 to 4 weeks.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate must possess strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy interventions. Experience in critical care is preferred, as well as the ability to function independently and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Manage time effectively and maintain good attendance.
• Participate in communication with other team members, including hospitalists and case managers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Acute care experience, including ICU/CCU, preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred but not necessary.
