Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour work week with every other weekend rotation; patient ratio 1:4-5; 36-bed unit with average daily census of 35

Highlights:

• Telemetry unit serving adult to geriatric populations with diverse cardiac and medical conditions including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, and vascular disorders
• Epic electronic medical record system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• No call requirements; maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience; local candidates welcome at same rate
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; professional development opportunities available

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience managing (non-titrating) cardiac and vasoactive drips including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac procedures (pre/post cath, post MI), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and arterial blood gas interpretation
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); full compliance documentation must be completed prior to orientation
