Job Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice relevant to the state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to overall departmental success.

  • Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
  • Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
  • Instructs patients and families on non-medical follow-up strategies, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management techniques.
  • Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to meet and surpass quality standards, enhancing the exceptional care provided to patients.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating, evaluating, customizing, and delivering a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.
Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • No travel is required.
  • No prior experience is necessary.
