Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift (LV1)

Job Summary : Primary responsibilities for the Manufacturing Supervisor are to coordinate and direct the daily activities in manufacturing and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other duties include coordination with other departments to satisfy customer needs for product and resolution of defective product issues.

• Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel in card manufacturing along with personnel in other departments with no on duty Supervisor.
• Manage the daily production schedules in all of card manufacturing.
• Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure timely repair of machinery.
• Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product.
• Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use. Complete detailed production reports consisting of a daily shift summary and data entry of completed production.
• Complete basic human resource duties such as time keeping (payroll), vacation approvals and employee evaluations
• Assure all safety standards and procedures are followed.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned by Production Manager or other appropriate management personnel.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
• Provide hands-on technical support with machine setup, troubleshooting, and quick maintenance-related fixes.
• Complete employee disciplinary documentation and write-ups as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance-related repairs is preferred.
• Previous experience handling employee disciplinary processes and write-ups is preferred.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
