Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift for applicable assignment needs
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care setting
• Complete thorough nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient status, document assessments and interventions accurately, and communicate changes promptly
• Support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning from day one
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing staff as needed
• Promote a safe, positive, and efficient care environment for patients and staff
• Participate in ongoing professional growth and contribute to strong unit teamwork
