Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist Open Dental Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in Washington State (preferred but required to practice). Valid CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed). Proficiency with digital radiography and computer software (Open Dental experience preferred). Strong communication skills and dedication to patient education and comfort. Job Description Perform thorough dental hygiene services including cleanings, exams, and dental x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and support treatment planning efforts. Ensure patient comfort and provide quality care following HIPAA, OSHA, and bloodborne pathogen protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software and digital charting tools. Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to foster a positive, low-stress environment. Adapt schedule and appointment lengths based on hygienist preferences to promote quality care.
