Exciting opportunities are open for Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants who are ready to support students across multiple educational settings. Both part-time and full-time assignments are available, with schedules that can be combined across several campuses to create a robust experience. Roles are strictly on-site, offering the chance to engage directly with a diverse student population in elementary and middle school environments.
Qualified candidates will bring dedication and a collaborative spirit to their work, helping students with varying speech and communication needs reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Active FL Department of Health SLPA license
- Experience in school-based settings as an SLPA preferred
- Ability to travel to multiple campus locations within the area
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting per district and AHCA Clearinghouse requirements (transfer of prints possible if completed in another FL district)
- Willingness to serve caseloads of approximately 50-55 students ranging in age
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services as directed by supervising SLPs
- Support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Complete and maintain accurate session records and progress notes
- Collaborate with educational teams and families
- Provide services across several campus locations to establish a full work week (up to 37.5 hours)
- Participate in case conferences and professional development as needed
