About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Advanced hemodynamic monitoring experience ICP Monitoring Experience with ventilated patients Knowledge of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients Familiarity with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD Competence in PA lines and waveform interpretation Description: Registered Nurse needed for a Neuro Critical Care Unit. The unit provides care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Responsibilities include managing patients with ischemic strokes, hemorrhagic strokes, and neuro surgeries. The role involves working with patients experiencing meningitis, encephalitis, and neuro-muscular disorders. Candidates must demonstrate advanced skills in critical care and neuro-specific interventions. Qualified individuals will have experience in hemodynamic monitoring and managing ventilated patients. Capability to understand and administer vasoactive medications is essential. The position requires assisting with line insertion and ongoing maintenance for post-surgical patients.
