About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU/CCU patients in a mid-to-large hospital setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced intensive care environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Rotate availability every other weekend and every other holiday as part of the expected schedule

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Illinois or compact equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience with CCU patients - must be clearly reflected on resume
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible

• Prior experience in a mid-to-large hospital or health system setting
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in high-acuity environments
• Experience managing complex, critically ill patient populations
