Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
Position Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement robotics solutions to streamline workflows in various processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate and improve mechatronic systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on robotics and mechatronics systems.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance on robotic systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document technical reports and maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in mechatronics and robotics applications.
- Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and equipment necessary for projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong foundational knowledge in mechatronics, robotics, and automation technologies.
- Proficient in programming languages relevant to robotic control and automation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior experience in programming and operating robotic systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical system installations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in robotics.
