Member of Technical Staff - Product

We're partnering with a well-funded, early-stage AI startup that's rethinking how one of the world's largest industries operates. The team is building AI-native software to automate complex, knowledge-intensive workflows that have seen very little disruption despite enormous advances in AI. This is an opportunity to join as one of the earliest engineers and work directly with the founders to build the core platform from the ground up. You'll have significant ownership, influence technical direction, and help shape both the product and engineering culture. What You'll Do Work directly with customers to deeply understand their workflows and uncover opportunities for automation Own projects end-to-end, from problem discovery and product design through implementation and production deployment Collaborate closely with the founders on technical architecture, product strategy, and engineering culture Build core platform components, including data pipelines, document intelligence systems, knowledge infrastructure, and AI-powered workflows Help define how frontier AI technologies can be applied to solve real-world operational challenges What We're Looking For Strong software engineering fundamentals and a desire to build products from 0 to 1 Curiosity about how businesses, organizations, and complex systems operate Comfortable working through ambiguity and forming strong product opinions from customer feedback Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with non-technical users Willingness to travel occasionally to work directly alongside customers Happy to work across the stack and tackle whatever is needed, whether that's building backend infrastructure, shipping product features, or integrating with third-party systems Why This Role?
