Job Description Lumber Yard Associate / Order Puller Location: South Windsor, CT Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $19.00 per hour Position Overview A growing lumber company in East Windsor, CT is seeking a reliable and hardworkingLumber Yard Associate / Order Puller to join their team. This position is responsible for pulling and preparing customer orders including siding, decking, and other building materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in maintaining a positive attitude and showing up ready to work every day. Responsibilities Pull and prepare customer orders for siding, decking, lumber, and other building materials Load and unload materials safely and efficiently Assist with organizing and maintaining yard inventory Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (experience preferred) Ensure orders are accurate and ready for pickup or delivery Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly Qualifications Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or building supply environment preferred Forklift experience is a plus (but not required) Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift Strong attention to detail when pulling orders Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable attendance and punctuality Work Environment Outdoor and warehouse environment Fast-paced and physically active role Team-oriented workplace #INDSpringfield Additional Information At HW Staffing Solutions we recognize the value of our employee associates as equally as our clients.
