Bilingual (English and Spanish) Human Resources Generalist

Summary:

At Tillamook Country Smokers the human resources (HR) team is focused on what people need and how to provide it. We're searching for a qualified and resourceful human resources generalist to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.

Essential Job Functions:

· Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.

· Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.

· Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.

· Review, analyze and track various court ordered garnishments, as well as setting up withholding orders in PayCom.

· Provide coordination and assistance to team and employees during Annual Enrollment

· Maintains PayCom Portal Site with up-to-date company information, main administrator for new hires.

· Responsible for conducting new hire orientation and onboarding of all team members.

· Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.

· Assists with employee/company events.

· Other general HR tasks as assigned- Benefits, employee relations, operations support, policy adherence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a progressive Human Resources support role.

· Familiarity and experience using PayCom payroll system preferred.

• Ability to demonstrate engagement and support to an evolving business.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Knowledge of appropriate legislation pertaining to employment (both Federal and State law), compensation and benefits and other related human resources functions.

• Verbal and written fluency in Spanish and English is needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
