Roadmaster Drivers School, a subdivision of Werner Enterprises, Inc. is a nationally accredited educational institution that provides the highest standard of professional training.Roadmaster Drivers School is seeking to hire experienced and highly qualified CDL Class A drivers who have the ability and desire to train the next generation of commercial truck drivers with professionalism so that they can take pride in their work and put safety first.What We Offer:Full-Time positions are availableA standard M-F work scheduleNo work is required on any weekend or holiday!Excellent health, dental and vision insuranceLife, AD&D and various other insurance benefits availablePaid vacation and sick time401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase Program with Company MatchOpportunities for professional advancementThe Educational Assistance Program provides Werner and Roadmaster associates the opportunity to participate in college or graduate credit coursesJob Responsibilities:Demonstrate assigned driving operations for students on a regular basisOversee the safe operation and use of equipment when being used by students, ensuring that the company policy and standards are being adhered toSupervise all assigned trainees and complete the necessary documentation for each person, such as student attendance forms and training recordsProvide in-person daily instruction to students in the following areas: Full Pre-Trip Inspection, Basic Control Skills and Road DrivingQualifications:A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with no more than two moving violations in a 12-month period, and/or no more than three moving violations in a 24-month period. Driving records not complying with the foregoing will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.Must have a minimum of 3 years over the road or local commercial driving experience, and/or minimum criteria required to obtain instructor licensure within the applicable jurisdiction and meet all other licensure requirements.Must pass and continuously maintain a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical which is issued in accordance with all regulations and recommendations of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, pass an approved DOT drug test and hair follicle drug test (HFT) and agree to random and suspicion-based drug and alcohol screening.Must have the ability to effectively communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal/written skills. Must possess and demonstrate the physical, intellectual and leadership ability to deliver the company’s approved training and curriculum to students in the areas of classroom, full pre-trip inspection, basic control skills and road driving.Must successfully complete all required new hire onboarding and training in a timely manner, as well as continuing education as required by the company.We know benefits are critical and we are committed to offering comprehensive and affordable options for you and your loved ones.
