Night Porter/Receptionist

We’re a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we’re looking for a Night Receptionist to support our guests and hotel operations during the night shift. What You’ll Do Guest Services & Reception Greet and assist guests arriving late or departing early Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently Respond to guest enquiries with warmth and professionalism Night Operations, Security & Set-Ups Monitor hotel safety and security throughout the night Ensure all areas are secure and report any incidents promptly Support Operations by assisting with night audits and reporting Prepare and set up meeting rooms in line with event requirements, including room layouts, equipment, refreshments, and general presentation standards Ensure meeting and public areas are clean, organised, and ready for the following day’s business Administration & Accuracy Maintain accurate guest records and reservations Process payments, invoices, and other administrative tasks Communicate important information to the daytime team to ensure smooth handovers What You’ll Bring Experience in hotel reception, customer service, or a similar role Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on guest satisfaction A hands-on attitude and willingness to support operational tasks, including meeting room set-ups What You Get Discounts across retail, restaurants & entertainment Free onsite gym Global IHG Friends & Family hotel discounts Meals provided on duty Opportunities for development and career progression Recognition and incentive schemes If you’re reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to support our guests and hotel operations through the night, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Himanchestercity
