Director of Nursing

Position Summary Our client is seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room. This role requires an experienced leader with a strong nursing background, proven supervisory skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, manage departmental operations, and support the organization's mission of excellence in healthcare. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Supervise nursing staff, ensuring optimal workflow and performance.
- Oversee departmental budgeting and fiscal responsibilities.
- Continuously assess and enhance the quality of care and services provided.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
- Manage timekeeping, supply orders, employee evaluations, and strategic planning.
- Provide clinical support in wound care and hyperbaric therapy when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience.
- Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider (WOCN certification preferred).
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- On-call availability as required.
