Chef de Partie / Line Cook
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
About the Role
At Prime Independent Living, dining is at the heart of the resident experience. Our kitchen is built around quality, consistency, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
We're looking for a Chef de Partie / Line Cook who takes pride in their craft, values a strong team environment, and is excited to be part of a concept that's redefining dining in senior living. If you love cooking from scratch, appreciate a more balanced schedule, and want to create meals that truly matter, this is a unique opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from scratch in accordance with recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is executed with consistency, quality, and timeliness
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Support menu execution, daily features, and special events
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
- Follow established portioning, plating, and presentation standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- A strong foundation in cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Attention to detail and pride in consistency and presentation
- Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure
- A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- SERVSafe Certification (preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A genuine appreciation for serving a senior population
