This person leads by example, supports and develops clinical staff, and helps ensure the clinic operates efficiently while delivering high-quality patient care.

The Lead Nurse is organized, adaptable, and confident balancing leadership responsibilities with hands on clinical support when needed. They are proactive communicators, strong problem-solvers, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, teamwork, and professionalism.

A successful Lead Nurse has strong clinical judgment, leadership experience, and a heart for servant leadership.

Outcomes

1. Maintain consistent clinical staffing coverage across all clinic locations to support efficient patient care and clinic operations.
2. Lead clinical staff to maintain high standards of patient care, professionalism, and operational accountability.
3. Ensure clinic operations, supplies, equipment, and workflows remain organized, compliant, and prepared for daily operations.
4. Support chronic disease management and patient follow-up initiatives that improve continuity of care and patient engagement.
5. Lead the clinical team to achieve established organizational, operational, and quality goals each quarter.

Qualifications

• Current LVN or RN license in the state of Texas required.
• 5+ years of clinical experience required; strong leadership and supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in outpatient, community health, or nonprofit healthcare settings preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, support clinic operations, and provide hands-on clinical support when needed.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, immunization, and clinical safety standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with professionalism and adaptability.
• Practicing believer in Jesus Christ.
