Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7p – 7a) | Block Scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit consisting of 6 labor rooms, 3 postpartum rooms, a triage room, and 1 OR for C-sections
• Manage LDRP patients with staffing ratios of 1:1 in L&D and a maximum of 1:3 in postpartum
• Assist with and support C-section procedures performed within the L&D OR suite
• Participate in on-call rotation, including a minimum of 6 hours of call per pay period
• Work every 3rd weekend and be available to work 1 major holiday per season in rotation with permanent staff
• Float to MedSurg PCU as needed for task-only assignments; L&D will recall floats if unit needs require it

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) – A1 Intermediate certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (first-time travelers will be considered)
• Ability to work night shift block schedules and participate in call and weekend rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience with Paragon (McKesson) electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
