# Now Hiring: Beach / Rental Attendants & Event Coordinators

**Matt’s Beach Shack | Tigertail Beach | Marco Island, FL**

Matt’s Beach Shack is building our Tigertail Beach team! We’re looking for dependable, friendly people who enjoy working outdoors, helping visitors, and creating memorable beach experiences.

**Local Marco Island applicants and people from nearby neighborhoods are especially encouraged to apply. Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive on time at Tigertail Beach are required.**

## Beach / Rental Attendant

**$15.50 per hour plus tips**

**Opportunity to advance to Beach Lead at $17.50 per hour plus tips**

This is an active, hands-on guest service position. Responsibilities include:

- Handling cashier duties, payments, reservations, and guest check-ins.

- Helping visitors rent kayaks, paddleboards, chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment.

- Setting up, breaking down, cleaning, and organizing beach equipment.

- Providing beach valet assistance by helping visitors carry their belongings and equipment to the beach side.

- Explaining equipment use, safety procedures, and park rules.

- Answering questions and making every visitor feel welcome.

We need responsible, accountable self-starters who can work independently, take initiative, and stay helpful and positive during busy days. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors and able to lift, carry, and move beach equipment.

**Start times can be as early as 7:15 a.m., with operations running through sunset. Weekend and holiday availability is required.** We prioritize full-day schedules before adding shorter shifts, giving employees the opportunity to get their hours in fewer workdays and enjoy more days off.

## Activities & Event Coordinator

**Commission-based compensation | Part-time or project-based opportunities**

You don’t have to be looking for a full-time job to work with us. We’re interested in people with community connections, a specialty, and the initiative to bring people together.

Your focus might be:

- Health, wellness, or educational activities.

- Fitness classes, walking groups, or club gatherings.

- Farmers markets, artisan vendors, or community markets.

- Specialized social gatherings and outdoor experiences.

You may want to organize one recurring activity or help develop a broader events program. We’re open to discussing a role built around your experience, connections, and availability.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing event ideas and coordinating with management.

- Recruiting participants, instructors, vendors, or community partners.

- Promoting events and managing logistics.

- **Working directly with the City of Marco Island and Collier County on any required event permits, applications, approvals, and related requirements.**

- Tracking permitting deadlines and coordinating necessary approvals before an event takes place.

- Helping events run smoothly from planning through setup and cleanup.

**This is a commission-based position. Commission rates and payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins.**
