ESL/ELL Teacher

Develop instructional strategies aligned with Illinois English Language Development Standards Support students in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development in core academic content areas Monitor and assess student progress in English language acquisition Maintain student language proficiency records and documentation Assist with the identification, placement, and monitoring of English Language Learners Participate in language program planning and instructional support services Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress Support culturally responsive instructional practices Attend staff meetings and professional development as directed by administration Perform other duties as assigned by administration Qualifications REQUIREMENTS Meet Illinois State Board of Education Standards Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Hold an English as a Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual endorsement Salary/Benefits Range ($49,437 - $66,785) #J-18808-Ljbffr The Illinois Association of School Administrators
