Developer IIIJob Location: Cary, NC.Job Duration: 6+ MonthsJob Description:Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires 10+ years' of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Specific details for regional application development end to end technical lead:Ability to partner across organizations (Application Development, Architecture, Engineering, Networking, Operations etc…)Understanding of Data integration technologies and toolingCustom built using java, COBOL or newer Big Data solutions as example Spark, Mapreduce etc..Informatica PowerCenter and Big Data Management editionChange Data Capture Technologies and use caseUnderstanding of Reference Architectures and ability to contribute to development and enhancements working with ArchitectureUnderstanding of a variety of Data Management storage solutionsRDBMS – DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etcLegacy implementations like VSAMNoSQL and Big Data, MongoDB, Hive, HBase, TitanDB (Familiarity with both Hortonworks and BigInsights Distributions)Ability to provide technical oversite on design and integration educating others on program, expectations and deliverablesAbility to provide escalations and updates to leadership outlining issues, options considerations etc.Ability to participate on planning, communication, progress updates etc…Communicating and assisting in resolution of issuesAbility to conduct Technical Design Reviews with oversight to vendors and contractorsAbility to assist in troubleshooting and /or issue resolution
