Interventional Radiology Technician Contract Position

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist with current ARRT certification
• Specialized training and substantial hands-on experience in interventional radiology
• Valid state license in Diagnostic Radiology (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, contrast material preparation, and patient monitoring protocols
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, position, and monitor patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout
• Operate complex imaging systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are obtained for physician review
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and medical teams to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, supplies, and patient data in compliance with institutional policies
• Follow strict infection control policies and equipment sterilization protocols
• Monitor inventory and assist with equipment maintenance
