This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. Be ready to:review pricing proposals for large commercial accounts, provide recommendations to underwriters and collaborate throughout the pricing and decision-making processperform loss-sensitive pricing and collateral evaluationmaintain and enhance large account pricing toolsresearch and implement pricing improvements, including construction of multi-variate pricing modelsenhance business unit reporting by distilling and communicating key findingsbuild tools to enhance business unit productivityperform ad-hoc analysesQualificationsBe equipped with:robust SQL experience (preferred) strong SAS experience (preferred)proficiency in Excel VBA (preferred) basic Python experience, including pandas/NumPy, Excel/file system manipulation and generalized linear models (preferred)experience with penalized regression models (preferred)excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skillsBring education or experience from:a bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or a similar technical field of study (required)an ACAS designation (required)business coursework (preferred)four or more years of P&C actuarial experience (required) and commercial pricing experience (strongly preferred) an FCAS designation (preferred) Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
