Position: Surgical Technologist - CVOR
Location: City, State
Shift: 10-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty. This position requires a proactive approach to surgical operations and effective collaboration with surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in open heart surgeries and other cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgeries.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
- Collaborate with surgical personnel to ensure patient safety and care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CVOR.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTA or NCCT).
Call and Holiday Expectations:
The role includes a requirement of 6 days of on-call service per month, as well as the ability to work:
- 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
- 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
