Our organization is actively looking for additional Outpatient Neurologists to enhance our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the lively Capital Region of New York. With locations in Albany and Clifton Park, this is an exceptional chance to be part of a physician-led establishment that boasts a well-regarded neurology department, currently broadening and integrating its services.

Recently, our practice transitioned to a modern, state-of-the-art office designed to improve both patient experiences and provider satisfaction.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Monday to Friday outpatient role with a shared call rotation among providers.
• Join an established practice consisting of 3 full-time physicians and a team of 2 advanced practitioners.
• Responsibilities include general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
• Shared rotational call with robust practice support.
• Required skills: Proficiency in EMG/NCS and EEG; opportunities for sleep study reading are available.
• Sub-specialty options, including MS and Headache Center, with strong Hospitalist support.
• Dedicated days for specialization in neuromuscular and epilepsy for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory, as general care is the primary focus.
• Strong clinical and communication skills, with a commitment to team-oriented patient care.
• A desire to provide general neurological services.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a remarkable opportunity for a talented Neurologist to join our organization. We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Base compensation ranging from $330,000 to $340,000, with potential for increased earnings through productivity.
• The stated salary reflects the starting range and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation.
• A starting bonus of $25,000 and a retention bonus of $15,000 at the 2-year mark.

• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
• 5 days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
