Data Governance Lead

To enhance data governance practices, the full-time remote Data Governance Lead will establish ownership and stewardship across data domains, develop a comprehensive data quality framework, and maintain a robust data dictionary while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Scale existing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and ownership across all datasets Define and implement a data quality framework with measurable metrics and drive continuous improvement Document and maintain business definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across all data domains Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management Proven ability to build data governance programs from the ground up Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing data definitions and ownership Experience with data governance tools such as BigQuery, dbt, or Unity Catalog Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like GDPR and CCPA as they relate to data governance
