Benefits Flexible scheduling, variety of assignments and work-life balance Contract, temp-to-hire and direct-hire positions Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Responsibilities Provide speech therapy to patients having communication, swallowing and cognitive difficulties in facilities such as nursing homes, rehab centers, assisted living facilities and hospitals Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, PTs and OTs to provide excellent patient care Assist physician in evaluation of patient’s ability to speak, swallow and process information Conduct patient assessments, document progress and ensure patient goals are met Assist with mouth, breathing and swallowing exercises, fluency, articulation and reading Educate patient and family on therapy goals, safety practices and self-care Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license in TN CPR certificationKnowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations Good clinical judgement, critical thinking skills, strong communicator, empathy and compassion Why Work for Interim HealthCare Staffing?
