Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must.Compensation: $17.81 per hourJob Requirements:Must be at least 21 years of ageKnowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggersEnsure a good guest experience--present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages; take orders; promptly serve food and drink, and check in with guests regarding their experience; up-sell whenever possibleRecord drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS; accept and process guest payment and make the correct change as applicable.Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurantMaintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishingEnsure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) alwaysMaintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Wash and sterilize glassware as neededEducation / Experience:High school education is required; hospitality or other degrees are a plusMinimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferredPhysical:Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in lengthMust be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
