OUR OPENING

Journey Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand, generate business and recruiting leads, and elevate our digital presence. Working closely with our Marketing Communications Manager, you'll develop and execute digital marketing strategies that support our business goals while collaborating with teams across the organization.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST?

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across web, search, social, email, and paid advertising.
• Manage and optimize Journey Group's website, SEO/SEM initiatives, and user experience.
• Plan and oversee paid digital campaigns to support brand awareness, lead generation, and recruiting.
• Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Create and manage email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and performance reporting.
• Partner with Human Resources, Business Development, and Operations to support company initiatives through digital marketing.
• Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional digital marketing experience.
• Experience managing websites, paid digital advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing campaigns.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES NEEDED

• Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEO/SEM tools, and email marketing platforms.
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written communication and content creation abilities.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management software such as Monday.com is preferred.
• B2B marketing experience required; construction or AEC industry experience is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This position is based in our Sioux Falls, SD office and requires regular, full-time onsite attendance during normal business hours.
• A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.
• Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
• Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Travel to other locations is occasionally required for meetings and trainings.
