Field Dock And Door Service TechnicianHugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with installation experience, mechanical knowledge, and Dock & Door industry experience to join our team as a Field Dock & Door Service Technician. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956.About The PositionField Dock & Door Service Techs function as part of the Warehouse Products Service Team and are responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing warehouse docks and doors.In this role you will:Repair Warehouse Docks and Rollup Doors to bring each customer's facility back to operational safety standards through safety protocols, evaluating repair needs, and communicating those effectively with the customer.Performing New Installation on Dock and Door projects.Effectively communicate with all involved parties about possible downtime and job progress to include the Warehouse Products team so that they may also provide quality customer service and customer communications.Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision.Compensation/BenefitsCompetitive CompensationPerformance BonusesInsurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, plus several supplemental benefits)Generous PTO PlanPaid Holidays401k with company matchRequirementsMinimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferredMinimum 21 years of age with a clean driving recordAbove-average communication skillsAbility to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicleHigh School diploma or equivalentPossessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of toolsSkills That Will Set You Up For Success May Include:Electrical experience, including proper use of a multimeterGeneral knowledge of operating various equipmentAbility to accomplish duties with accuracy and timelinessRelated Experience May Include: Dock Equipment Installer, Commercial Door Technician, Dock Maintenance Technician, Warehouse Door InstallerPhysical Demands/Environmental ConditionsThis position:will be working in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.will be frequently working on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required.must be able to lift 50 pounds. Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
