Academic Dean

Academic Dean & Student Affairs – Private College

Location: Marietta, GA (in-person). Compensation: $165,000 - $175,000 per year. Full‑time, exempt. Permanent hire. Relocation assistance and benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Provide curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development.
• Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, state, and federal requirements.
• Implement training programs and workshops for faculty and staff for professional development.
• Lead campus student retention efforts and support program directors and faculty with retention activities, strategy, and initiative.
• Manage budgetary and financial planning for the academic division.
• Foster relationships with external partners, including businesses, advisory boards, community organizations, and accrediting bodies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education (required). Doctorate in Education (preferred).
• 8 years of leadership experience in education.
• 4 years of experience teaching or acting in an administrative role within a post‑secondary institution (preferred).
• Experience in accreditation and program assessment processes.
• Prior experience as an Academic Dean (preferred).
