Position Summary: This position requires a capable candidate to prepare the peat moss for the growing houses. Education : High School Diploma Essential Skills and Abilities : Able to work independently with little supervision Able to take directions Available 6 days per week at 9 or more hours per day Must be able to drive a truck with standard transmission Certifications / Licenses: Valid Driver's License with clean driving history Wash and secure peat moss building Keep area around the peat moss shed clean of debris Must maintain adequate supply of peat moss and lime Ability to monitor hours and days off efficiently Maintain and supply salt to the softeners Ensure CAC is available for the following business day Provides accountability and direction to Management for Company - Employee Interaction. Ability to train new employees Oversee the peat moss process Oversee all the peat moss personnel Ensure that all peat moss practices are followed at all times Monitor and evaluate performance of all peat moss staff under his / her supervision Ensure that follow up and / or discipline is implemented as per company policy Record water usage and bales for all mixers The job duties found below are not the only tasks required for the job.
