Light Industrial - Material Handler

Material Handler
As a Material Handler, you'll ship, receive, package, count and route material, complete associated paperwork and/or operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc. Primary responsibilities include coordinating shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments. Responsible for assigned picking, inventorying, and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments. Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment. Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems. Sets up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer. Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use forklift and other material moving tools and moving machinery. Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate.
