Salary:

C&S Sweeping Services, Inc., located in Central Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, is a leader in providing milling, street sweeping, and specialized services in the western US for heavy-civil and heavy-highway contractors. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Transport Driver to join our team! We are a family-owned and operated company with over 46 years of employing excellent team members in the road maintenance industry. This full-time position is open immediately for qualified candidates.

Job Duties Skills/ Responsibilities:

• Per DOT regulations, perform pre & post-trip daily inspections on truck & trailer and immediately report any defects to the supervisor.
  
• Load and secure equipment per DOT rules and safely transport to and from job sites.
  
• Keep vehicle & trailer registrations, permits & other required paperwork organized and in the cab at all times.
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating vehicles.
  
• Adheres to all C & S Sweeping safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have one year of experience hauling heavy equipment.
• Must be mechanically inclined and can perform basic repairs.
• Must have a CDL-A license with a clean motor vehicle record for the last 39 months & Active Medical Card (DOT)
• Must have experience and knowledge filling out E-Logs, driver inspection logs, and timesheets by state and federal DOT and FMSCA laws.
• Must be flexible with the work schedule, such as working overtime, weekends, emergency call-ins, and out-of-town assignments.
• Must be able to travel out of town for long-term or short-term job assignments. Hotel accommodations will be paid for.

Background check and drug screening is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to carry 75 lbs.
• Physically fit to operate equipment under temperature extreme conditions and walk for extended hours.
• You must wear steel-toe shoes; other PPE will be provided.
