Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics tojoin our dynamic team in Seattle, WA, specializing in the repair andmaintenance of yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, and container handlers. As acrucial member of our maintenance crew, you will play a key role in ensuringthe optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issuesand perform repairs on yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, container handlers,and other industrial equipment. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, andinspections, to ensure equipment longevity and performance. Investigate and resolve complex mechanical andelectrical problems efficiently to minimize equipment downtime. Replace faulty or worn-out components. Maintain accurate records of repairs,inspections, and maintenance activities. Conduct test drives after repairs to validate the effectiveness of the maintenance work and ensure equipment meetsoperational standards. Requirements In-depth understanding of diesel engines,hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills toidentify and resolve complex mechanical issues. Able to weld and fabricate. Ability to perform physically demanding tasksand work in various weather conditions. Must have your own set of tools. Must have a valid driver’s license with a cleanMVR. Should be able to clear a criminal record checkand drug screen. Compensation $35 - $45/hr. plusbonus, comprehensive benefits including Dental, Health, Vision, and Matching401K.
