About the Role We’re looking for a compassionate, dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional care in patients’ homes. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized patient care for patients in all developmental stages, from neonates to geriatric patients, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist with program development and discipline‑specific operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Appropriately communicate and document information in accordance with agency policies and discipline‑specific guidelines. Contribute to program effectiveness and maintain and adjust schedules to enhance agency performance. Demonstrate a daily commitment to the values of the agency, positive interpersonal relations with all members, and maintain customer satisfaction. Effectively demonstrate the agency’s mission, vision, and values on a daily basis. Job Duties Assess, interpret, plan, implement, and evaluate patients with appropriate level of skill according to the patient’s age and diagnosis. Assist with program development and discipline specific operations efficiently and productively. Communicate and document information per agency policies and procedures. Contribute to program effectiveness. Organize and perform work effectively and efficiently. Maintain and adjust schedule to enhance agency performance. Demonstrate a daily commitment to the values of the agency. Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations. Maintain and promote customer satisfaction. Effectively demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of the Agency on a daily basis. Qualifications & Experience Graduate of a clinical program from an accredited university or community college; master’s degree in speech‑language pathology. Licensure in the state where care is provided (NC/SC) and CPR certification. NC and CCC from ASHA or eligibility to begin CFY year. Graduate practicums in a medical setting; at least one year of experience preferred. Knowledge of diagnostic and speech procedures; ability to manipulate patient care equipment and modalities. Interpersonal skills: professional and positive manner with patients, families, physicians, and co‑workers. Physical & Mental Requirements Significant locomotion; frequent lifting >50 lbs and patient transfers >100 lbs; extensive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, stair climbing, reaching overhead. Ability to apply rehabilitation clinical principles, develop appropriate treatment programs, prioritize duties, and learn new skills and techniques. Proficiency with computer technology and supportive services. Adequate vision and hearing for clinical techniques and speech discrimination. Exposure to hazards: noise, congestion, communicable disease, blood‑borne pathogens, potential assault, and injury from improper body mechanics. Work Schedule 40‑hour work weeks, variable Monday‑Friday, weekends and holidays as needed.
