Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours guaranteed

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• New Hampshire RN license or Compact
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• 2 years recent Med/Surg Rehab experience
• Charge RN experience
• Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)
• Skills checklist for Medical Surgical (current to 1 year)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Provide leadership and collaborate with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Compliance / Notes:

• All requests for time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission; requests after submission will not be approved.
• No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
• Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance. After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract may be terminated at the facility's discretion.
• Traveler candidates must have their own vehicle as public transportation is not available in the community.
