As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in Belleville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, delivery, and/or contractor activity in alignment with site expectations.
• Support closing, opening, and after-hours coverage by observing assigned areas, communicating relevant information, and following post orders for unarmed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
