Direct Support Professional – Whittier, CA Job Title: Direct Support Professional Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $29.00/hr. What You’ll Do Essential Functions: Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' visual and active needs as written in the Individual Program Plan. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up. Pick‑up/drop‑off clients in company vans from or to their home/facility as necessary. Education and Experience Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (must obtain within first 12 months of hire) Registered Behavior Technician Certificate – RBT (must obtain within first 12 months of hire) First Aid/CPR & CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention (preferred or willing to obtain) Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a California Driver’s License Candidate must successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
