Shipping clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing outbound shipments, verifying orders, generating shipping labels, and ensuring accurate inventory documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high accuracy, and is comfortable using warehouse management software to keep our supply chain running seamlessly.

salary: $39,520 - $45,760 per year

Responsibilities

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday

Pay: $39,520 - $45,760 ($19 - $22)

Duties:

• Be the primary contact for all incoming suppliers, carriers, and internal customers and respond in a timely manner.
• Work with all internal departments to strive to meet our customers' requirements, while always maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide parcel freight quotes and rates to the Sales Team as needed.
• Primary contact for scheduling pick-ups from our local suppliers and vendors.
• Back up Assistant Supervisor when out and record product shipments on a computer with an accurate packing slip, BOL, Pro Number, etc.
• When problems arise, notify the Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor and partner with them to resolve the issue.
• Update the Shared Truck Schedule Calendar for outbound shipments.
• Operate forklift to move material, load/unload trucks as needed
