Machine Operator

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator, where you'll play a key role in the production of high-quality air conditioning units. You'll be trained to run a variety of metal fabricating machines, ensuring precision and safety while contributing to a high-performing production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various metal fabrication machines (e.g., Brake Press, Turret, Fin Press) to cut, shape, and form metal parts per blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure proper machine setup and adherence to quality standards.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and your teammates. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and JSA guidelines.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
• Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively to meet production goals and ensure smooth operations.
• Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency.
• Be available for overtime or shift changes as needed to support production demands.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of machine operation or similar manufacturing experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods on hard surfaces.
• Comfortable working in physically demanding, noisy, dusty, fast-paced environment, and non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to frequently lift 30-40 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• Basic computer skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2 or more years of machine operation or similar manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as Brake Press, Turret, or Fin Press
• Experience programming and operating CNC machines.
