Contract Role RN Manager Labor & DeliveryPosition Details: RN Manager Labor & Delivery- Savannah, GA Location: 4700 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31404 Project Duration: Full Time /Permanent Shift Timing: Days No weekends Relocation: Case by Case Basis Sign-On Bonus: Case by Case BasisPosition SummaryThe Manager Labor and Delivery is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. We want you to apply now.What qualifications you will need:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License requiredBachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferredA current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are requiredNRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required)3+ years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery required & some leadership experience requiredAdditional Information# of Beds per Unit: 12 Beds with 4 overflow, 3 ORs, 2 Triage Beds, and 4 Bed PACUTypes of Services: Labor and Delivery, around 300 births/month and about 3500 per yearManager will report to Director of Women's ServicesThe candidate must have experience in labor and delivery with supervisory and leadership experience. Strong and proven labor and delivery leadership skills are essential.Position directly supervises: RNs, Unit Secretaries and CNAsAbout generis tek: generis tek is a boutique it/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
