Endoscopy Technician - PRN

Job Summary Prepares endoscopy procedure rooms and required specialized equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assists the physician and/or registered nurse during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes by team collaboration. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and hospital and unit‑specific policies. Follows established policies and procedures for NRHS. Assists with patient tasks as requested by nurse. Maintains environment and instruments. Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent. Experience 6 months of recent health care tech or nurse assistant experience preferred. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re‑training for the duration of employment. Compensation/Benefits $16.72–$27.30/hr depending on previous work experience.
